LINCOLN SQUARE — Nearly 700 homes are without electricity in Lincoln Square Wednesday morning.
In an alert to residents Ald. Patrick O’Connor (40th) said his office was notified of the outage by ComEd around 10:15 a.m. A total of 687 homes are without power, according to ComEd.
“Streetlights in the area have also been affected so motorists may want to take alternate routes if at all possible,” the alert said.

O’Connor’s office said the outage has impacted the area between North Western and North Ravenswood avenues.
Power is expected to be restored at about 12:30 p.m., according to ComEd’s outage map.
