MCKINLEY PARK — Kids can get free school bags, teeth cleanings and more during a back-to-school event in McKinley Park Sunday.
The event will be held at Razzmatazz Games & Grill, 3900 S. Ashland Ave., and game cards will be handed out throughout the day so kids can play the location’s arcade games for free.
Barbers and a dentist will also be on hand to give kids free haircuts and dental cleanings before they head back to school. Knapsacks full of snacks from MadeGood and free T-shirts will also be passed out to children who attend.
The event runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Razzmatazz Games & Grill, though the free haircuts will only be available starting at noon.
School starts Sept. 4 for Chicago Public Schools students.
