CHICAGO — Stan’s Donuts is offering up a cheap treat for its founder’s 89th birthday.
The doughnut chain will sell glazed doughnuts for a discounted 89 cents on Aug. 25. Boxes of a dozen glazed doughnuts will be sold for $10, and Stan’s is encouraging fans to order their boxes of a dozen doughnuts ahead of time.
The discounted doughnuts will be available at all Chicago locations.
The event will mark the birthday of Stan Berman, who opened the first Stan’s in 1963 in Los Angeles.
