CHICAGO — Police will look for drunken drivers in the Englewood and Grand Crossing districts this weekend.
Officers will “saturate” the Englewood District 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m., according to a Chicago Police news release. Officers will then patrol the Grand Crossing District 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday.
The officers will look for drivers who are impaired or speeding and people not wearing their seatbelts properly.
Parking restrictions for the July event have already begun, and significant road closures are coming as Chicago preps for its first street race.
