LINCOLN SQUARE — Two men robbed a Lincoln Square yoga studio Monday afternoon, police said.
The robbery happened in the 4600 block of North Rockwell Street around 3:22 p.m., police said.
A witness who works on that block said she saw police activity across the street at Bloom Yoga Studio Monday, but an employee of the studio declined to comment when reached by phone.
Police spokesperson Michael Carroll said two men wearing hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans “entered the front of the business wearing masks, threatened and robbed the victims, implying that they had a handgun.”
The two men were able to take property and money from the businesses. No additional information was available.
Last spring, the same yoga studio was targeted by thieves. In May of 2017, two men entered the studio, punched a 30-year-old employee and grabbed cash from the register, along with personal items belonging to another woman, police told DNAinfo Chicago.
Anyone with information regarding this robbery can contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8263
