CHICAGO — A man and woman tried to lure a 9-year-old boy to their car Sunday in Norwood Park.
At 5:30 p.m. Sunday, the boy was riding his bike in the 6400 block of North Natoma Avenue when the man and woman drove up to an alley between Imlay Street and Schreiber Avenue, according to a Chicago Police community alert. “No, my mother is right over there,” the boy told the two.
The man and woman then sped away, going north on Natoma Avenue and then east on Schreiber Avenue, police said.
The man was white, tanned, in his late 50s and had gray hair and facial stubble, police said. He was missing his front teeth and spoke with a Southern accent. The woman was white, tanned, in her late 50s and had gray hair. She was also missing her front teeth and had a Southern accent.
The truck was a small, red pick-up truck, police said.
