WEST LOOP — Chicago Police are warning residents after a series of armed robberies in the West Loop.
On three separate occasions, a few men approached a victim and robbed them at gunpoint before fleeing in a nearby vehicle, police said in a community alert.
The incidents occurred:
- 300 block of North Aberdeen Street at 10 p.m. July 30.
- 300 block of North Sangamon Street at 11 p.m. July 31.
- 800 block of West Randolph St. at 1:20 a.m. on Aug. 1.
Chicago Police are looking for four men in connection with the robberies, authorities said.
One suspect is described as a black man, 6-feet to 6-feet-2 and 140-160 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt and ripped jeans, police said.
A second suspect was described as a black man between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet and weighing 165-175 pounds. He was wearing red pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.
A third suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6 and weighed 130-145 pounds. He was wearing dark pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a white bandana mask, police said.
A fourth suspect was described as a 5-foot-6 black man, 25-28 years old and 140-150 pounds. He had brown eyes, shaved black hair, and was wearing a light blue “Big 10” hooded sweatshirt and black pants, police said.
