HUMBOLDT PARK — Police are warning businesses in Humboldt Park after a pair of recent break-ins.
In both incidents, burglars broke glass doors and/or windows and then stole money from the cash register before fleeing, police said. In one of the incidents, a second burglar returned and stole a computer.
The incidents occurred in the:
- 2600 Block of West Division Street at 9:49 p.m. July 24
- 2800 Block of West Chicago Avenue at 11:45 p.m. July 28
Police describe two of the suspects as men weighing around 160 pounds with “toupee hairstyles.” Both were wearing jeans and dark sweatshirts, police said.
