CHICAGO — Soul singer Angie Stone will headline this year’s Westside Music Fest this weekend.
R&B group Silk, girl group 702 and local artists will also perform at the 7th annual Douglas Park fest, which kicks off at 11 a.m. near the corner of Ogden Avenue and Sacramento Drive. Live music starts at 3 p.m., and there will also be a “surprise Chicago artist” who will be announced the evening of the event, according to a news release from the festival’s organizers.
Besides live music, the Westside Music Fest will have vendors, a games area and food. Admission to the fest is free and open to all.
