HUMBOLDT PARK — Calling all sangria fans: The summer punch has its own festival, and it’s just around the corner.

This year’s Sangria Festival, now in its third year, is set for Aug. 18 and 19 in Humboldt Park, 3021 W. Division St., from noon untile 10 p.m. each day.

Fest-goers can expect sangria mixed by Chicago bartenders, locally-made food, live music and a world market area with a host of local vendors.

Tickets, which cost between $25-$110, can be purchased online.

Every ticket holder will receive a complimentary souvenir glass that they can use to taste 20 different sangria recipes, which range from classic flavors made with red and white wines to tropical grapefruit.

There will be flamenco performances and a samba parade, plus a live music main stage with latin rock, rumba, jazz and gypsy performers, according to a news release.

For a full music lineup, visit the fest’s website.

Some of the proceeds from the event will benefit the San Lucas Church & Food Pantry at St. Stan’s School.

Use the code “blockclubchi” to get $10 off any ticket except the paint and sip one.
