PILSEN — Nearly 20 DJs will descend on Pilsen for a free House Music festival this weekend.

The third annual My House Music Festival kicks off at noon Saturday and Sunday at Cermak and Morgan — a larger location from its previous spot on 18th Street and Blue Island Avenue.

This year’s headliners include Tim Spinnin’ Schommer and Kenny “Jammin” Jason. Other acts include Julian Jumpin’ Perez, Gene Hunt, DJ Heather, Lady D, John Simmons, Boi Jeanius and more.

While the festival is free, organizers are offering VIP tickets at $50 per day or $90 for the full weekend. VIPs have access to a private seating area and private bathrooms separate from the festival’s main ground.

This year, the festival will donate the money to Yollocalli Arts Reach, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises money for local children’s hospitals, and the Chicago-based Sprouting Leaders nonprofit.

Vendors at the event include Mexican jewelry designers, arts and XICX Zine Collective. Restaurants with food tents include La Cebollita, La Patrona, 511 Empanadas, El Campeon, Los Cantaritos and more.
