ALBANY PARK — Construction crews will shut down traffic for a few blocks near Ravenswood Manor Park for most of August.

Northern Pipeline Construction and the city’s water department will stop all traffic on North Manor Avenue between West Leland Avenue and West Eastwood Avenue.

The Francisco Brown Line station will still be accessible to pedestrians during this closure. However, drivers should detour west to North Kedzie Avenue during construction, which is expected to last until Aug. 28, according to the office of Ald. Deb Mell (33rd).

Crews will be installing the final segment of the water main project using a “jack and bore” method under the CTA track, according to a notice shared by the alderman’s office.

Anyone who experiences issues related to the project can contact Ald. Mell’s office at  773-478-8040.
