CHINATOWN — A woman stabbed a man after he tried to hit her with a broom late Wednesday in Chinatown, police said.
At 9:56 p.m., the two were in a businesses’ parking lot in the 300 block of West Cermak Road when the man tried to hit the woman with a broom, police said. The woman then stabbed the man in his back.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in serious condition, police said.
The two had been arguing all day, a witness said, according to Chicago Police. The incident happened in front of a Walgreens on the block, according to the Chicago Tribune.
No one was in custody.
