CHICAGO — A free poetry-themed block party will be held Saturday in Austin.
The all-ages Chicago Poetry Block Party will have an open mic so all poets can perform. There will be games, writing workshops, live music and more, according to the Poetry Foundation.
Rapper Joseph Chilliams will host, and several poets and musicians, including Eve Ewing, will perform.
The event runs 3-8 p.m. Saturday at Austin Town Hall, 5620 W. Lake St.
