CHICAGO — An Indianapolis man has been extradited to Chicago, where he faces charges of sexually abusing a girl in Lincoln Park, police said.
At 2:15 a.m. May 27, the man, Hunter Best, broke into a home in the 400 block of West Belden Avenue, went up to a 13-year-old girl and sexually abused her, according to a Chicago Police news release.
Police sent out an alert after the incident, and Best, 25, of Indianapolis, was identified as the attacker, police said.
Best has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, home invasion, criminal trespass to residence and battery, police said. He was scheduled to appear in Bond Court on Wednesday.
