PILSEN — A 21-year-old woman is in serious condition after being shot twice in Pilsen Monday night, police said.
At 11 p.m. Monday, the woman was riding in a vehicle in the 1300 block of West 18th Place when a man inside a tan Buick fired shots, police said.
The 21-year-old was shot twice in her back and taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in serious condition.
The woman was not the intended target, police said.
No one is in custody and the police investigation is ongoing.
Alds. Byron Sigcho-Lopez and Rossana Rodriguez-Sanchez were the only alderpeople to reject the raise, according to budget records obtained by Block Club.
