Chance The Rapper Got Engaged To His Longtime Girlfriend On The South Side

CHICAGO — Chance the Rapper is now Chance the Fiancé.

The Chatham rapper became engaged to longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley on the Fourth of July. The two have long dated and are parents to a daughter, Kensli.

A video posted on Instagram shows Chance proposing to Corley, asking, “Will you make me a man and be my wife?” as people cheer for the couple. He scoops up their daughter and the three hug in another video.

Chance himself tweeted, “She said yes,” while his brother, musician Taylor Bennett, wrote on Instagram that Chance had “Proposed In The Hunninds!” in reference to the South Side.

Fans (including stars like Olivia Wilde) congratulated Chance on social media. Many joked that Chance had turned his “baby mama” into his fiancee, referencing his own words from his song, “All We Got.”
