CHICAGO — A 60-year-old man tripped under a CTA bus and was run over on Sunday night, police said.
At 11:10 p.m., the man was in the 6300 block of South Western Avenue when he knocked on the bus to get the driver’s attention so he could get on, police said. The man fell and the back wheel of the bus ran over him.
The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center with unknown injuries. His condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
