WEST LOOP — BomboBar is serving up decadent gelato-and-doughnut concoctions to help you cool off during Chicago’s hot summer days.
Built into the side of Bar Siena, 832 W. Randolph St., Bombobar offers up bomboloni — Italian hole-less doughnuts, coffee and Italian ices, among other options. But the true Instagram star of the menu is the made-from-scratch gelato, which you can get in single- or double-scoop options.
The gelato is served in a waffle cone and you can get a doughnut hole, called a “mini bombo,” on top.
Topping options include crumbled Pop-Tarts, cereal like Cookie Crisp or Captain Crunch and even Haribo gummy bears and Rice Krispies treats. There are also more traditional offerings, like caramel drizzle and sprinkles.

BomboBar is open daily from 8 a.m. -11 p.m.
