CHICAGO — Free HIV tests will be offered throughout the city next week as part of National HIV Testing Day.
The tests will be available at several Walgreens on June 27 and will have rapid results, according to Walgreens. Counselors will be available to talk to participants about prevention, treating HIV and PrEP, a series of medications that can lower the chances of contracting HIV.
Attendees don’t have to make an appointment for the tests and the results will be confidential, according to Walgreens.
