WEST LOOP — Thousands of people will be treated to live music, food and fun during what’s hailed as the “World’s Largest Block Party” in the West Loop this weekend.

The 34th annual Old St. Pat’s Block Party will bring live bands, food trucks, family activities and more to the neighborhood from 5-10:30 p.m. Friday, and 2-10:30 p.m. Saturday. The festival entrance gates are at Monroe and DesPlaines streets and Monroe and Jefferson streets.

Entrance from 5-6 p.m. Friday is free. Admission is $10 at the gate the rest of the weekend. Organizers are also offering $50 VIP tickets, which includes access to a VIP lounge, dinner and other amenities.

Proceeds from the Old St. Pat’s World’s Largest Block Party support social justice initiatives and outreach activities of Old St. Patrick’s Church.

Here’s the lineup:

Friday bands:

  • 5:30 p.m.        Maggie Speaks
  •  8:15 p.m.        Mike & Joe

Saturday Bands:
