CHICAGO — A man raped and robbed a woman at gunpoint in Washington Heights, police said.
At 11:20 p.m. June 9, the woman was in a parked car in the 10100 block of South Parnell Avenue when the man walked up to the car, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man, who was carrying a gun, got into the car and told the woman to drive to an alley.
The man then sexually assaulted and robbed the woman, police said. Police released photos of the man on Wednesday.
The man was black, 21-28 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-1 and 150-170 pounds, police said. He had black hair cut short with a fade, brown eyes and a thin mustache. He wore a black sweatshirt with black jogging pants and white Air Force 1 shoes.
