DOWNTOWN — Block Club Chicago analyzed nearly 43,000 dogs to figure out what’s the most popular name for a pooch in the city.
We found Chicago-centric names, including Wrigley, Rizzo and Comiskey. But there were also a lot of unique picks: Stormi Nyght, Mr. Narwhal and Little Bit, to name a few.
We want to see what else Chicagoans can come up with, so we’re hosting a contest to name one of the dogs taken in by PAWS Chicago, a no-killer shelter.
The PAWS Chicago staff will choose a name and give it to a lucky pup. We’ll share the winner (and a photo of the dog who gets the name!) next week.
