CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was gunned down in Austin on Sunday, police said.
At 11:30 a.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in front of a building in the 1600 block of North Luna Avenue when someone came out of an alley, walked up to him and fired shots, police said.
The man was shot in his chest, left thigh and buttocks and died, police said.
The gunman ran away, police said, and no one was in custody.
