WEST LOOP — Washington native Allen Stone, Santa Cruz Americana band the Devil Makes Three and Los Angeles band Chicano Batman are among the packed lineup set to light up the stage at the 22nd annual Taste of Randolph in the West Loop this weekend.
Among the city’s most popular summer festivals, the three-day fest celebrates the West Loop’s dining offerings with an eclectic soundtrack of up-and-coming musicians. The festival will take over a stretch of Randolph at Peoria Street from 5-10 p.m. Friday and noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Attendees are asked to give an optional $10 donation upon entering the fest, which benefits the West Loop Community Organization.
VIP tickets, which include lounge access near West and East stages, discounted beer, and other perks, are also on sale.
The Music:
In addition to headliners Allen Stone, The Devil Makes Three, Chicano Batman, Mayer Hawthorne, Trevor Hall and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, more than 40 music acts will play across three stages at the festival throughout the weekend.
Other acts taking the stage include: Wax Tailor (solo set and guests), Mondo Cozmo, Susto, Spencer Lee Band, Moon Hooch, Everything Everything, Mokakr, Family & Friends, Chicago Samba, Rich Jones, Wild Earp & the Free for Alls, Overcoats, Bay Ledges, Carla Prather and Pino Farina Band.
The DJ dance stage will include performances by Psycho B! Valerie, Teri Bristol, Milty Evans, Bassment Tapes, Jose Marquez, David Montoya, David Sabat, Parlant Parlant, Jay Medina, Timothy Triplett, Zac Jones, David Montoya, David Sabat, DJ Sabine Blazin, Julius The Mad Thinker, and Sean Alvarez.
