ALBANY PARK — Police issued a community alert Thursday after two armed robberies were recently reported in the area.
In both robberies, a man armed with a handgun used the weapon to strike the victim and demanded their property, according to police.
The first armed robbery happened in the 3000 block of West Cullom Avenue on at 10:15 p.m. June 5 and the second one happened in the 4400 block of North Lawndale Avenue at 10:30 p.m. June 6, police said.
