GRAND BOULEVARD — Chicago’s Home of Chicken and Waffles is hosting a giveaway to celebrate its 15th anniversary and new location.

Customers can stop by 1-5 p.m. Wednesday at the restaurant, 3947 S. King Drive, to receive free chicken and waffles. Owner Tonya Johnson will be joined by former mayoral candidate Ja’Mal Green and current mayoral frontrunner Paul Vallas, along with other community leaders.

Chicken and Waffles will also announce its move to a state-of-the-art building across the street from its current location.
