ENGLEWOOD — Police are looking for the driver of a Lincoln SUV who killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run this week.
At 6:05 p.m. Monday, the pedestrian was crossing the street in the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue when the driver of the Lincoln SUV hit them, police said.
The driver took off, going north on Racine Avenue, police said.
Police did not identify the victim, but they said the person died from their injuries.
The driver is still at large. The car is a dark-colored, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX Sport Utility vehicle, police said. Its lower passenger headlight may have been damaged in the crash, police said.
